Personal Project. I wanted to work on something that would be enjoyable for me to practice, so I wanted to create a diorama from an idea I personally liked. I picked a bakery, because they’re such warm happy places and who doesn’t love fresh baked goods! I wanted to focus primarily on hand painted texturing (putting my Wacom Cintiq 13HD to good use) and picked a stylised cartoon-ish aesthetic with bright colours. I also took inspiration from European cuckoo clocks and the patterns they use in their designs.
